Hear a song on the radio that you love and want to hear more often? Really tired of hearing that one song you can't stand over and over? Can't stand hearing anything by that one artist again? That's what song and artist ratings are for. By letting us know the songs and artists you like and dislike, this will help LiveXLive stations to play more of the music you like and less of the music you don't.
When the song is playing on a radio station, press Heart on the Now Playing screen. This does three things:
- The song will play more often on the station it was rated on.
- The song will be added to the Songs section of My Library.
- The song's artist will be added to your Favorites Radio station.
When the song is playing on a radio station, press Ban on the Now Playing screen.
- If playing on the website, after pressing Ban , select the option Ban Song from the pop-up menu.
- On the station's information page, scroll to the "My Station Ratings" section.
- Find the song you wish to remove the rating from in the list of rated songs.
- Select the rating icon next to the song to remove that rating.
The song will now be available for the station to play on its regular rotation.
It's not possible to rate an artist on a station to make their songs play more often. However, you can follow an artist to add them to your Library for easy access to their profile and artist station.
Website:
- While a song by the artist is playing, press Ban.
- Select Ban Artist.
Mobile app:
- While a song by the artist is playing, press the . . . (Options) button.
- Select Ban Artist.
Note: Banning an artist will cause any songs by that artist that are not rated as a favorite on that station to no longer play on that station. This does not ban the artist from any other station.
- On the station's information page, scroll to the "My Station Ratings" section.
- Find the artist you wish to remove the rating from in the list of banned artists.
- Select the rating icon next to the artist to remove that rating.
The artist and their music will now be available for the station to play on its regular rotation.
