Manage Hosts, Headline News, Music News or Sports News

LiveXLive offers several types of "spoken word" content which are added to your station to provide more content and context alongside the music you hear. These features are available and can be enabled or disabled by all LiveXLive listeners, regardless of subscription. These include:

    • Hosts and station identifications
    • News breaks provided by the Associated Press
    • Music News breaks provided by LiveXLive
    • Sports News breaks provided by LiveXLive

Please select the setting you would like to change.

Please select your platform

Station Hosts can be enabled/disabled from a single station. When the station is playing, select the Station Settings icon from the Now Playing bar and move the Hosts slider to enable or disable the host on that station.
Stations hosts cannot be enabled nor disabled from all stations at once.
Station Hosts can be enabled or disabled from a single station. When the station is playing, select the Host text at the top of the Now Playing screen to enable or disable the host on that station. The Hosts text will illuminate when enabled and dim when disabled.

All Stations

Stations hosts cannot be enabled nor disabled from all stations at once.
Stations hosts cannot be enabled nor disabled from single stations on home devices such as Roku nor Sonos.

Headline News cannot be enabled nor disabled from a single station using the website.
Headline News can be enabled or disabled from all stations by:
  1. Select Main Menu.
  2. Select the Account icon.
  3. Select My Account from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Radio Settings.
  5. Set the Headline News switch to On or Off to enable or disable News on all stations.
Note: Stations with Headline News enabled on a single station will override this setting and can only be disabled using the instructions for a single station.
Headline News can be enabled or disabled from a single station. When the station is playing, select the News text at the top of the Now Playing screen to enable or disable News on that station. The News text will illuminate when enabled and dim when disabled.

All Stations

Headline News can be enabled or disabled from all stations by:
  1. Select Profile.
  2. Select the Settings icon.
  3. Select Player Settings.
  4. Set the News Updates switch to On or Off to enable or disable News on all stations.
Note: Stations with Headline News enabled on a single station will override this setting and can only be disabled using the instructions for a single station.
News cannot be enabled nor disabled from single stations on home devices such as Roku nor Sonos.
News cannot be enabled nor disabled from all stations at once on home devices such as Roku nor Sonos.

LiveXLive Music News cannot be enabled nor disabled from a single station using the website.
LiveXLive Music News can be enabled or disabled from all stations by:
  1. Select Main Menu.
  2. Select the Account icon.
  3. Select My Account from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Radio Settings.
  5. Set the Music News switch to On or Off to enable or disable LiveXLive Music News on all stations.
Note: Stations with LiveXLive Music News enabled on a single station will override this setting and can only be disabled using the instructions for a single station.
LiveXLive Music News can be enabled or disabled from a single station. When the station is playing, select the Music News text at the top of the Now Playing screen to enable or disable ABC News on that station. The Music News text will illuminate when enabled and dim when disabled.

LiveXLive Sports News can be enabled or disabled from a single station. When the station is playing, select the Sports text at the top of the Now Playing screen to enable or disable ABC News on that station. The Sports text will illuminate when enabled and dim when disabled.

  1. Select Profile.
  2. Select the Settings icon.
  3. Select Player Settings.
  4. Set the Sports Updates switch to On or Off to enable or disable LiveXLive Sports News on all stations.
